Madrid, Spain [June 26, 2025] – EKN, a company specializing in marketing and technology solutions and part of the multinational Numatec group, announced the appointment of Gonzalo Figares as its new General Manager in Spain. This designation reflects EKN’s commitment to strengthening its operation in the Iberian market and accelerating its growth in Europe, in line with the sustained development the company has experienced in other key markets such as Italy and Poland.

Figares, who is a respected figure in the digital and mobile ecosystem in Europe, will bring his commercial and international experience to lead the growth of EKN Spain, with a focus on the evolution of its services and capabilities. His appointment responds to the need to consolidate local leadership and expand the service offering in a market undergoing continuous digital transformation.

With a distinguished career in the industry, Gonzalo was CEO and co-founder of Adtriple, a pioneering firm in mobile marketing in the Hispanic world, acquired by HiMedia and later integrated into Mobvious, where he continued to expand its operations. He also founded the consultancy Proyectos y Servicios GFC, with clients such as Telefónica Movistar, and held key roles such as Head of Advertising & Sales at Jumptap. In addition, he worked at Accenture, Yahoo, and Google, an experience that allowed him to develop a deep and multidimensional understanding of the global advertising and technology ecosystem.

He was also General Manager of Ogury Spain and VP for Latin America between 2018 and 2020, and most recently was General Manager of RTB House in Spain, where he built the team and achieved 42% revenue growth. During his time at RTB House, he developed solutions based on artificial intelligence and was responsible for key initiatives around cookie-less targeting and personalization through deep learning.
